Stress Warning Signs and Symptoms

According to HealthGuide.com, it is important to understand the questions:

Am I in control of stress or is stress controlling me?

  • When I feel agitated, do I know how to quickly calm and soothe myself?
  • Can I easily let go of my anger?
  • Can I turn to others at work to help me calm down and feel better?
  • When I come home at night, do I walk in the door feeling alert and relaxed?
  • Am I seldom distracted or moody?
  • Am I able to recognize upsets that others seem to be experiencing?
  • Do I easily turn to friends or family members for a calming influence?
  • When my energy is low, do I know how to boost it?

Once you have answered these questions then you can fully understand yourself in stress mode. I don’t want to go in details with stress warning signs and symptoms. Once answering these questions, you should be aware of the situation. I’ll go outline the warning signs and symptoms, but if you have any questions, feel free to post them and/or email me.

Stress Warning Signs and Symptoms:

  • Seeing only the negative
  • Anxious or racing thoughts
  • Constant worrying
  • Moodiness
  • Frequent colds
  • Sleeping too much or too little
  • Isolating yourself from others

Define Stress

Okay I get it, whenever there are holidays coming there always seems to be million things to be done,before the event itself actually comes correct? Similar thought process can be stated for Thanksgiving, especially if the family members are coming together, so many people to feed, and etc.

Breathe…Breathe…Breathe…

Take a moment and think about it, if you worry and stress all these demands and deadlines, you are hurting yourself and no one else, yes that is correct you are hurting yourself. When you’re constantly running in the “stress” mode, your mind and body pay the price.

Let me start from the beginning and then go from there.

Let us first define stress, which is the physical pressure, pull, or other force exerted on one thing by another; strain, according to dictionary.com

I am sure you may have already been aware of definition of stress, but have you ever thought for a second, how you are hurting your own body and beauty? Please think of yourself first, when you realize that you are in a stress mode.I’ll share how to do that, keep posted.
